The terrace of Harewood House was designed in the Italian style by Sir Charles Barryin the 1840s and contains ornate fountains and a stunning parterre with symmetrical flower beds of great beauty. The house was designed by John Carr of York, completed in 1772, and is a fine example of neo-classical architecture.
