CUBA. La Havana. 1959. A mother in Havana is suddently reunited with her son who had been in the mountains with Castro's revolutionary rebels, and came back into the city leading a victorious column of rebel liberators. He is wearing a beard like all Castro's followers called "Barbudos", who swore not to shave until the Batista regime had been ousted.
