Robert Capa / International Center of Photography
Over 60.000 Berliners came to this gathering on the 9th September 1945 to show their solidarity that it is a 'national duty all Germans to honour the reparations" to all those who suffered under the hands of fascism. It took place in the Werner Seelenbinder Stadium in Berlin Neukolln (it was named in his honour as he was a famous wrestler who was shot by the Nazis in 1944 as being a Communist).
