The construction of the North Sikkim Road, which runs from Gangtok to Lachen, and is 100 miles long. Workers walk at an altitude of 6000-10.000 ft. on a muletrack. Of the 8000 workers, 3500 are Tibetan Refugees. They have built 20 miles of road in 6 months by hand, it has taken them 1 year to build 45 miles of road.
