ISRAEL. Bethlehem. Bethlehem Manger Church. 2000. Christian pilgrims celebrate Christmas Eve in the Manger Church which was built upon the spot of christ's birth. Christmas Eve celebrations were stimultaneously held by the Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, and Syrian Orthodox Coptic churches. An estimated four million tourists and pilgrims visited the Holy Land for the millenium.
