ALGERIA Sahara. Tamanrasset. The Tuaregs are nomadic people and roam the desert south of Tamanrasset. Although they often own land, they do not work themselves. Black slaves from Sudan do all manual labour. The Tuareg home is made of goat and camel skins slung over stout poles or of reeds and straw. 1957.
