INDIA. “Women Changing India”. Gujarat state. Ahmedabad. April 2010. Sewa mobile van shows videos about Sewa's activities and awareness programs in various part of the town. Here, in Vadaj area. SEWA (Self Employment Women's Association), founded as a trade union by Ela Bhatt, in 1972. SEWA follows the Gandhian philosophy of non-violence and self-reliance. It builds up solidarity amongst women workers and is both an institution and a movement of economic change.
