RUSSIA. Grozny, Chechnya. 22/02/2002. Sacrificed bull for "Kuram Bairam", a Muslum holiday, which this year falls on the same weekend as the day commemorating the deportation of the entire Chechen nation to Central Asia by I.V.Stalin in 1946. Chechens were accused of collaborating with Nazi Germany and only rehabilitated in 1956. Today more than 400,000 Chechens live in exile. They fled from the wars and perscution and around 200,000 live in refugee camps in neighbouring Ingushetia.
