In the middle, Martha Molande, 26 years old with (from left to right) Austin and Kenneth, 13 year old twins to her sister who died of Aids in 1997, her own son Paul (6 years old), her daughter Vanessa (3 years old), and Francis (12 years old) son to another sister who also died of Aids in 1997. She sustains her "family" by working in the fields as a daily labourer and by the little money she gets from guys who "help" her in the main city Blantyre.
