Ras el Uja Beduin camp near Jericho in the West bank. This community like many other similar ones has no running water. Normally they buy it and then use tractors to bring it to the camp. Since a couple of months a pilot project financied by the EU brings a tanker of water directly to the camp twice a week. Funding for this project is secured for only four more months.
WHO's minimum recommended amount of water per capita is 120 litres/day.
Beduins before this project had roughly 10 liters/day, Palestinians 60 litres/day and Israelis with settlers included 450 litres/day.
