Numerous technical problems (especially related to the stability of the vessel) must be solved in seconds with the use of computers and the automatic functioning of machines. For example, a ship that has launched missiles loses hundreds of tons that it must recover and balance in seconds to keep its stability at a given depth.
Meanwhile, the programmed death will be precise, hitting within 50 meters of its target while traveling a course thousands of kilometers long if necessary.
