IRAQ, Kirkuk. 04/11/2003 Kurdish oil rich city in the North of Iraq- considered the "Jerusalem of the Kurds."A day after the fall of Kirkuk, widespread looting continued, more US forces arrived, looted buildings burned,and several people were killed and injured when a stray Iraqi grenade from 5 miles away which had remained in position hit a suburb.
