UKRAINE. Slavutych. From April 20th to May 2nd, 2009. The first sector, to the northeast, is a spacious city, built rapidly after the accident to replace the dormitory town of Pripyat and accommodate the staff of the nuclear complex. Built in a sector spared by the radioactive fallout, Slavutych is connected to Chernobyl by fifty kilometers of rail tracks. Every year, high school students take part in safeguarding exercises to prevent chemical or radio-nuclear spread.This training is well before the disaster. It has been going on since the Second World War, which has greatly affected the country.
