UKRAINE. Slavutych. From April 20th to May 2nd, 2009. The first sector, to the northeast, is a spacious city, built rapidly after the accident to replace the dormitory town of Pripyat and accommodate the staff of the nuclear complex. Built in a sector spared by the radioactive fallout, Slavutych is connected to Chernobyl by fifty kilometers of rail tracks.
Ceremony to commemorate the night of the disaster. Candles are lit in front of the photos of the immediate victims of the plant explosion.
