The Rhinoceros is becoming an endangered species, hundreds are being slaughtered by poachers in Kenya for their precious horns which on the Chinese markets of Singapore can fetch $7 an ounce, once ground into an aphrodisiac powder.The black African rhino has now dwindled from 20.000 to 1000 between 1970 and 1980, local poachers can get $1000 for a pair of horns (which sell for $5000 a pound in Hong Kong).The modern poachers hunt with high powered rifles, which has become an organised murder of animals.The Kenyan government have an Anti Poaching HQ in Kenya, equipped with a small army, and helicopters, but still the animals continue to get killed.
