Iranian photographer, Newsha began working professionally in the press at age of 16. At 18, she covers the student uprising in Iran and pursues her carrier documenting regional conflicts such as the war in Iraq.

She develops artistic concepts to overcome the political constraints she has to face while focusing her projects on society-based issues: the position of women in Iran, the situation of the middle class or even of the youth in her native country.
